Maharajah causes mayhemIn a magnificent display of senseless and indiscriminate slaughter, the Maharajah Duleep Sing, with only two loaders and three breech-loading guns, succeeded in terminating the lives of no fewer than two hundred and twenty brace of grouse.The remarkable feet of unnecessary mayhem took place at Grantully in 1871 from five in the morning till late afternoon. |
