Yuletide Relief“For as meikle as it is ungodly and unhonest to abuse the kirk walls and kirkyard, by pissing on the walls thereof and otherwise against godliness and honesty using the same, seeing it is a place wherin the defunct corpse lies below and is buried. Ordains none abuse the same in manner foresaid under the pain of two pennies wherever they be aprehended. And this to be intimated on Sunday next from the pulpit,”Perth Kirk Session |
